Answers to FAQ's regarding Water Situation

Here are a few answers to the most common questions we have been receiving at the Family Information Call Center:

Q: If I feel sick, what do I do?

A: Stay hydrated, report to ICC or Local Emergency Room.  If you feel it is an emergency, dial 911.

Q: What are the symptoms?

A: Nausea, general malaise, vomiting and diarrhea.

Q: My animals may be sick, what do I do?

A: Call your veteranarian.

Q: Are the base pools open?

A: Yes, except for the Kiddie Pools.

Q: Where do I get water?

A: Lincoln Housing Community Centers; First location is 3300 N Rhino, Second is 985 Ticonderoga.

Q: What is the water contaminated with?

A: Unknown.

Q: Can we bathe or wash children?

A: Yes, but refrain from ingesting bath or pool water.

Q: Is the water safe to drink?

A. No, please drink only bottled water.

Q: Is the water safe to play in?

A: Yes, but refrain from ingesting the water.
