Specific Job Requirements:
The Ground Support Equipment Mechanic diagnoses malfunctions and repairs Ground Support Equipment (GSE),  inspects and approves completed maintenance actions, solves repair problems by studying drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, and technical publications; uses automated maintenance data systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions, and analyzes, diagnosis, and repairs GSE using conventional and digital multi-meters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, and hand tools. This mechanic maintains external fuel and grounding systems, performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE, inspects, tests, and operates GSE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation, services equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air, diagnoses mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment, and technical publications. This work also does the following: disassembles and assembles malfunctioning GSE accessories and components, removes, disassembles repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls GSE components and accessories, stencils and marks GSE in accordance with technical publications, stores, handles, labels, uses, and disposes of hazardous materials and waste in accordance with all state, local, and federal environmental standards and regulations. This mechanic prepares GSE for storage and mobility deployment; and operates, cleans, inspects, and services GSE towing vehicles. In addition to maintaining vehicle records, this mechanic maintains and updates paper and electronic equipment records, provides dispatch service for GSE, including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations, practices good housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage prevention, and safety at all times.

Specific Job Requirements for Specialties (ALSS, Engine, Airframe etc.)
Shall have the ability to troubleshoot malfunctions in various aircraft systems and be able to perform general Organizational Level, and selected Intermediate and Depot Level maintenance of the assigned aircraft, in addition must possess a level of experience necessary to inspect all aircraft assigned, direct flight line/deck operations, release aircraft Safe for Flight, and possess one or more of the following specialties of the assigned aircraft:
·         Airframe/Structural Components, Landing  
·         Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Flight Control, Rotor and Transmission Drive Systems
·         Fuel/Air and Propulsion/Engine build-up Systems
·         Egress and Environmental Control Systems
·         Aircrew Life Support Systems
·         Power Distribution/Electrical Power and Lighting Systems
·         Avionics Communication/Navigation/Jamming Systems
·         Armament Systems

Required Years of experience
Must have 10 years as H60 Mechanic with last 4 years as Supervisor

Hierarchy for mechanic experience:
·         Navy H60 SAR, Navy H60
·         AF H60 SAR, AF H60
·         Army H60 MEDVAC, Army H60

·         CDI
·         NALCOMIS OOMA Familiarization/ Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management Course ( D/E-555-0053)
·         Course -0053 can be satisfied by completion of both NALCOMIS/OOMA Familiarization (D/E-555-0054) and Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management Course (D/E-555-0040)

Performs requirements in accordance with the procedures established in the PWS.  Performs aviation maintenance administration requirements in support of the activities assigned aircraft, engines, ALSS, support equipment and flight designated personnel.

Performs requirements in accordance with the procedures established in the PWS.  Performs aviation maintenance administration requirements in support of the activities assigned aircraft, engines, ALSS, support equipment and flight designated personnel. 

Specific Job Requirements:
Shall be proficient performing all operator, data entry, and retrieval functions.  Performs networking functions between individual stations, including analysis and correction of errors caused by software, hardware, or data entry.  Transmits and receives data via floppy disk, modem, and other electronic means.  Extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data saves in support of deployments and detachment operations.  Performs a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing and typing; performing data base and system analysis; maintaining aircraft and engine logbooks, and associated records; Central Technical Publication functions; prepares Monthly Maintenance Plan.

Required Years of experience
Preferred 3 to 5 years experience.

General Job Description from PWS:
Performs requirements in accordance with the procedures established in the PWS.  Performs aviation maintenance material control functions in support of the activities assigned aircraft, engines, ALSS, support equipment and flight designated personnel. 

Specific Job Requirements:
Shall be proficient performing all operator, data entry, and retrieval functions.  Transmits and receives data via floppy disk, modem, and other electronic means.  Extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data saves in support of deployments and detachment operations.  Perform a wide range of clerical and administrative and financial duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing and typing.  Perform tool room management IAW Tool Control Program (acting as Tool Control Program Coordinator), Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program, Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL) Program Coordinator.  Perform Hazardous Material Control and Management Supervisor requirements.(acting as OMD SAR HM&CM Supervisor)

Preferred 2- 5 years as supply technician.
